Well, the date fruit is one of the sweetest fruits around and are good sources of energy, sugar and fiber including various vitamins and minerals. They contain essential minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, copper, magnesium and zinc.  They also contain vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin A and vitamin K.
