October of every year is commemorated as International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known as Pink Month. The entire month is used for fundraising to support people battling with breast cancer, admiring the survivors, honouring the taken, and awareness/screening for women at risk.
Pink October Lagos Walk is a gathering of amazing people like you, who come together to take a 15 minute walk on Allen Avenue, with the aim of creating awareness, providing breast cancer prevention information and provision of free breast & cervical cancer screening to over 70 women at Alade Market, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.
Cancer screenings start at 9am.
Project PINK BLUE is community-based cancer non-profit with focus on breast & cervical cancer awareness and free screening for rural and hard-to-reach communities; with the aim to phase-out advanced/late diagnosis and reduce the incidence of cancer in Nigeria.
